1100 aluminum sheet is industrially pure aluminum with a mass fraction of 99.00% aluminum and cannot be reinforced or heat treated. It can generate many types of aluminum materials through pressure processing and has strong corrosion resistance, electrical and thermal conductivity, low density, and good plasticity. However, its strength is limited. Other process characteristics are nearly identical to those of 1050A. 1100 is typically used for applications that call for strong corrosion resistance, good forming and processing properties, and low strength requirements, such as equipment for handling and storing food and chemicals, sheet metal products, hollow small hardware processed by drawing or spinning, welding combination keys, reflectors, namesheets, etc.
The strength of a pure aluminum sheet (1100 aluminum sheet) is low, but it has excellent ductility, formability, weldability, and corrosion resistance. Anodic oxidation can further increase corrosion resistance while producing a lovely surface; however, heat treatment cannot strengthen 1100 aluminum sheet. Usual applications include parts for organic chemical products, sheet metal goods delivery and storage equipment, metal wire drawing production and processing of rotating hollow objects, electro-welded key composition, wave conduit, etc. that must have excellent forming and machining manufacturing characteristics, high corrosion resistance, and not too high provisions for compressive strength. It is frequently utilized throughout a number of industries, from machinery and equipment to kitchenware.
